The FTC Prevention Services team has over 75 years of combined prevention experience. Our highly, qualified trainers and consultants are eager to assist you with all of your presentation needs.


Marc Fomby, CEO

Known as “The Gang Man” and “Mr. Message in the Music”, Marc Fomby is a Certified Prevention Specialist through the Alabama Alcohol and Drug Abuse Association. As the founder and CEO of FTC Prevention Services, LLC (Pearl, MS), Marc has dedicated his life to helping youth, working with other professionals to connect with youth, and expanding the skills and education of adults and youth. Since 2006, along with his team, Marc has hosted the annual Mississippi Conference for Addiction Professionals (MSCAP), the first statewide educational hub for prevention, intervention, and treatment specialists in Mississippi. Additionally, he has served as conference coordinator for the annual statewide Juvenile Justice Symposium since 2012.

For over twenty years, Mr. Fomby has enthusiastically provided instruction and consulting services, community and strategic planning and program development to individuals, agencies, schools, colleges/universities, institutions, private, public, governmental and faith-based organizations throughout the United States, the Virgin Islands, and Saipan. Marc has developed curriculum and programs for high-risk youth and families, as well as instructional guidelines for behavioral health education and prevention. Well-known and certified as a gang consultant and juvenile suicide awareness trainer through the Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention (OJJDP) and the National Training and Technical Assistance Center for Child, Youth, and Family Mental Health (NTTAC), Marc has also conducted cultural sensitivity trainings in numerous states. He is also a nationally certified School Resource Officer Practitioner.

With a bachelor’s degree in business management earned from Belhaven University, Marc is dedicated to teaching youth critical life skills and peer education training and is a member of the Metro Jackson Community Prevention Coalition. He is also a consultant and advisor to the executive director of the National C.A.R.E.S. Movement, Susan Taylor, which led to him making a presentation for Oprah Winfrey in New York City.

Married to his high school sweetheart, Angelina, Marc is the proud father of six (6) adult children, who have made him an even prouder grandfather of ten (10) grandchildren.
